Title: Seeking a Physician to (Co-)Facilitate Mindfulness Groups (MBSR) at CW Hospital

The Centre for Mindfulness team is looking for a physician interested in facilitating or co-facilitating Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) groups for partners of mothers affected by postpartum depression and anxiety (PPDA). These groups will complement existing mindfulness groups for mothers at the BC Reproductive Mental Health Program, extending support to partners and fostering an interpersonal mindfulness approach. By engaging both mothers and their partners, we aim to help families cultivate mindfulness together in their everyday lives, and ultimately create a “sangha” or community of practice that will strengthen family well-being.

This initiative is part of an ongoing research project which explores interpersonal mindfulness in a series of clinical trials. You will have a unique opportunity to be involved in research to the extent that you would be interested in. 

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a Physician (MD) who has CW hospital privileges.
